Ingredients

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons ground cumin

2 tablespoons ground coriander

1 teaspoon turmeric

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon cinnamon

4 cloves of garlic, minced

1/4 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

4 pita breads or wraps

1 large cucumber, thinly sliced

1 medium tomato, diced

1/4 red onion, finely chopped

1 cup mixed greens (lettuce, arugula)

1/2 cup tahini sauce (for drizzling)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the sliced beef sirloin with cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, cinnamon, minced garlic, yogurt, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the meat is fully coated with the spices.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the beef marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.

Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the refrigerator and cook it in the pan for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through.

While the beef is cooking, prepare the pita breads or wraps by warming them in a dry pan or microwave for a few seconds until soft.

Once the beef is ready, assemble the sandwiches. Place a portion of the cooked beef in the center of each pita or wrap.

Top the beef with sliced cucumbers, diced tomatoes, chopped red onions, and mixed greens.

Drizzle generously with tahini sauce and sprinkle chopped parsley on top for an added flavor boost.

Wrap the pita or fold the sandwich and press lightly to hold everything together.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the sandwiches on a large platter, garnished with extra parsley and lemon wedges on the side for a refreshing touch.
