1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped walnuts (if using). Stir well to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.

Add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, and stir until just combined. If desired, fold in the dark chocolate chips for a sweet touch.

Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
