Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted

1 cup old-fashioned oats

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional: Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place them cut side up in a greased baking dish.

In a medium bowl, combine the old-fashioned oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.

Pour in the melted butter and maple syrup. Stir until the mixture becomes crumbly and well combined.

Evenly distribute the oat mixture over the halved peaches, pressing it down gently to ensure it sticks.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and the topping is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
