Ingredients

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

2 tablespoons sugar

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and diced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

8 small flour tortillas

Whipped cream and additional caramel sauce for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Taco Shells: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar and melted butter until evenly combined. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Shape the Shells: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon a tablespoon of the graham cracker mixture into a mound and flatten it slightly. Create a taco shell shape by placing the flattened mound over an inverted muffin tin; repeat for all batches. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely.

Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract using a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

Prepare the Apples: In another bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice, cinnamon, and a tablespoon of sugar. This will add flavor and prevent browning.

Assemble the Tacos: Once the taco shells have cooled, fill each shell with a layer of the cream cheese mixture, followed by a generous scoop of the cinnamon-sugar apples.

Drizzle the Caramel: Drizzle caramel sauce over the filled tacos for added sweetness and flavor.

Serve: Top with a dollop of whipped cream and an additional drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 8 tacos

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the tacos on a colorful platter, and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few thin apple slices for added visual appeal.
