Ingredients

8 slices of thick-cut bacon

1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional for a sweet glaze)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika (for an extra smoky flavor)

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

While the air fryer is preheating, lay the bacon slices flat on a cutting board.

If desired, sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over one side of each bacon slice for a touch of sweetness, followed by a sprinkle of smoked paprika and black pepper.

Place the bacon slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

Cook the bacon for 8-10 minutes, checking halfway through for desired crispiness. If you prefer your bacon extra crispy, add an additional 1-2 minutes.

Once cooked to your liking, carefully remove the bacon from the air fryer and let it drain on paper towels for a minute to remove excess grease.

Serve hot and enjoy your crispy bacon bliss!
